Vita:

Wolfgang Gesing, born in 1943 in Herford, occupies with art quite early during his highschool time. Between 1959 and 1963 he studies Graphic Design at the art school of Bielefeld and undergoes an education in lithography. From 1984, he starts with air brush paintings in large sizes of 76 x 104cms and 150 x 215cms. He works intensively and quickly, producing many works in short periods of time. Already in 1986 he starts his first great exhibition in Berlin, to which others follow.
